WEEE Policy
Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Policy Statement
The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Regulations (WEEE), EU Directive 2012/19/EC became operational under UK law in July 2007. These regulations require that, when disposing of electrical and electronic equipment at the end of its useful life, it must be recycled and/or disposed of in accordance with the directive. The manufacturer or importer (the producer) of the goods is responsible for their disposal/recycling in the correct manner. Where J&S Davis is the Producer, it will take back waste electronic equipment which has been sold since it started trading in May 2012 and for which it is still the Producer when it has reached “end of life”.
