LM Dental is delighted to introduce 4 new instruments to the Sharpen-free LM Sharp Diamond instrument range. Sharp Diamond instruments have a sharpen free micro coating, which provides long-lasting superior sharpness, improved productivity and clinical results, as well as benefits from outstanding ergonomics with sensational grip. Let’s take a look at the new kids on the block…
The Sickle NV1 is used for the efficient removal of supragingival calculus from anterior surfaces and interproximal areas. In order to enable efficient anterior instrumentation, the NV1 has two different working ends. Firstly, the sickle end which has two cutting edges, excellent for removing interproximal calculus and staining, and secondly, the disc end, which is effective for calculus and stain removal from the lingual surfaces of incisors.
The Sickle NV2 aids ergonomic calculus removal from all posterior supragingival areas. The heavily angled, long shank, allows for excellent posterior access, whilst the thin and long blades provide easy access to the interproximal regions.
The LM23 Slim, is a thinner version of the traditional and popular LM23. The thinner blade design allows for even better access to interproximal areas, thanks to the ideal angles and slightly extended lower shank.
The Mini McCall 13S-14S features a sharper, slightly rounded tip (not sickle shaped), and is designed for the removal of moderate to heavy calculus from all supra- and sub-gingival tooth surfaces.
All LM Sharp Diamond coated instruments are not suitable for sharpening and should be correctly cleaned and maintained, following LM Sharp Diamond Maintenance recommendations here.
