What Are Disposable Dental Products?

Who Are SOLO?
SOLO, by J&S Davis, has remained at the forefront of disposable dental innovation since launching the first fully disposable needle in 1964. So, what SOLO Disposable Dental Products do we stock and distribute at J&S Davis?
First launched in 1969, the SOLO Impression Trays were designed with the input of Professor McGregor of the Newcastle Dental School, an expert in his field who helped popularise the anatomically designed tray. His impression tray numbering system also became the universal system for plastic trays across the UK and in much of Europe. These innovative, high-quality impression trays got a makeover in 2000 and now have a handy lockable handle, more rigid plastic for use with alginate and elastomeric impression materials, as well as an enhanced anatomical design. This allowed them to be even more efficient in dental procedures and treatments.
SOLO’s latex-free Saliva Ejectors are adjustable to any shape, with a bonded tip for added patient safety. These single-use disposables have been designed as a flexible solution with a welded perforated tip for standard mount.
SOLO’s high-performance Supra Needles foregrounded their reputation as the world’s first single-use disposable needle. Since then, they have remained an industry favourite due to their unmatched quality and efficiency. Fully equipped with a triple bevel lancet, they are perfect for more direct placement of anaesthetic. They are also specially coated for patient comfort. Their innovative hub design has been chosen and developed to accept wider tolerances from thread from various makes of cartridge syringes, making them a reliable and flexible disposable needle solution.
SOLO’s self-contained, wall-mounted mixed bed ion-exchange water purifier is able to produce water that can be used in any machine or autoclave that requires de-ionised water. It makes this possible using a straightforward SOLO cartridge with a colour change exhaustion indicator.
